WELCOME TO KIRATREE RESOURCES

We are a family operated business located in Orono, Ontario, Canada. Kiratree Resources has been in operation since 1998, and creating one-of-a-kind pottery since 2006.
Colin Abernethy, owner/operator, had been building houses and doing renovations shortly after secondary school , when he then met Sergei de Jonge, a master guitar builder. Colin was taught the finer ways of working with wood and was indroduced to exotic woods as well.

"I learned things from Sergei back then that will always be with me, in the workshop and in day to day life".

 He then met Tina in 1997, his now wife, and they together started Kiratree resources. They operate from there home and property in the Ganaraska forest area, north of Orono. Tina is an accomplished potter, creating unique hand-crafted pottery in her studio there.

Kiratree Resources currently specializes in:

• Timber frame and log structures, renovations and new construction to   homes, cottages, barns and agricultural buildings. Horse and livestock fencing. Cedar shingles and steel roofing installation and more
• Exotic and domestic specialty lumber(hardwood/softwood/burls)
• Custom saw milling, tree removal(urban &forestry)
• Unique, one-of-a-kind hand crafted furniture
