CUSTOM SAWMILLING
In 1998 Colin purchased his first sawmill. It is a bandsaw type mill and is very efficient in the milling of logs. Not only that but like any great tool it has many uses, cutting beveled siding, cutting tappered support columns, cutting shingles, and re-sawing larger lumber/beams into smaller pieces.

Kiratree operates a 30HTL Baker sawmill. It can handle a log 32" diameter and 20.5' in length. It has fully hydrolic feed/cutting/loading and has a large diesel engine for power. Logs can either be dropped off in our yard or arrangments may be made for pick-up as well. Kiratree also offers a 2-man chainsaw mill which can handle a log as wide as 45" in diameter. 

Hourly rate is $60.00 (with operator) for sawmilling and chainsaw milling.
